ACN brings low cost calls to mobile phone customers with ACN Mobile World

CONCORD, NC – January 5, 2011 – ACN, the telecommunications leader known for its affordable and flexible communications services, has launched a new service to provide low-cost long distance and international calls to mobile phone users. ACN Mobile World includes both a smartphone application and a Call Back Service available on any mobile phone.

To get started, customers in the U.S. and Canada choose a calling plan to fit their long-distance and international calling needs. Plans vary from a pay-as-you-go option to a plan with unlimited calling in more than 50 countries. Once they have signed up for service, customers can immediately take advantage of the discounted rates.

After signing up for service, ACN Mobile World customers with a compatible smartphone can download the free ACN Mobile World application and make their low-cost calls through the application. Calls made through the ACN Mobile World application over Wi-Fi networks do not affect the customer’s data plan. The application works on phones running iPhone, Android and Symbian operating systems. Applications for Windows Mobile and BlackBerry devices will be coming soon.

The ACN Mobile World Call Back Service is another way to make low-cost calls and it works on any mobile phone. Customers can simply dial the Call Back Service access number, wait for a return call and dial the number of the person they wish to talk to.

ACN Mobile World was developed through a partnership with deltathree, a global provider of telephony services, products, and hosted solutions.
