ACN Selects Ronald McDonald House as Global Charity

CHARLOTTE, NC, October 1, 2008 – ACN has chosen Ronald McDonald House Charities as its global charity, a decision that recognizes the organization's worthwhile mission of providing homes for families of critically ill children who are being treated at Children's Hospitals.

The charity was selected because it has chapters globally in 51 countries and benefits children. The decision means ACN will raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities at each of its International Events worldwide. 

At the Detroit International Training Event in September, ACN was able to donate $55,868 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southeast Michigan on behalf of the company and its representatives. Volunteers collected contributions from thousands of generous ACN representatives and employees, and ACN matched the contributions dollar-for-dollar.

As ACN's relationship grows with the Ronald McDonald House Charities, ACN representatives and employees will be encouraged to volunteer locally. Plus, ACN will sponsor a program to provide IRIS 3000 Videophones to family members of hospitalized children during their stay.

Over the company's 15-year history, ACN has contributed millions to non-profit organizations worldwide, including those that give to needy children, help victims of domestic violence, support substance abuse rehabilitation, and provide relief after natural disasters.
