ACN’s New IRIS 3000 Videophone

CHARLOTTE, NC, August 1, 2008 – ACN has launched the new IRIS 3000 Videophone, marking the release of a revolutionary device that uses the latest in video technology available. The video phone was custom designed and developed exclusively for ACN with a 7-inch high-resolution digital screen, built-in phone adapter, and more.

The video phone works with ACN Digital Phone Service, which uses your broadband Internet service to make telephone calls. Users of ACN Video Phones love the ability to see the person they’re talking to.

"My brother just asked his girlfriend to marry him and she called the whole family on an ACN Video Phone and we all got to see the ring! Her eyes were sparkling as much as the ring was! It was amazing," said Marlene Brehm, a customer and ACN representative.

The IRIS 3000 features:

High-Quality Video and Sound: A 7” high-resolution digital screen with a light sensor that automatically adjusts to the room you’re in for a better picture. A full duplex speakerphone limits any echoes and background noise.
Photo Display: The ability to upload your favorite photos from your computer or camera to the device. The IRIS 3000 acts like a Digital Photo Frame so you can view your favorite photos.
Projection: The ability to display the caller’s image on a bigger screen by connecting the video phone to your computer or TV.
Accessories: A built-in adapter lets you digitally enable your entire home, and an ACN Video Phone Link allows you to use the video phone anywhere in the house. Plus, with ACN’s cordless phones, you can use your digital phone service in any room. Simply plug the cordless base station into your video phone.
Enhanced Phonebook: A contact list with multiple categories helps you organize your phonebook however you wish. Search your phonebook by name or phone number and store up to 300 contacts.
Great Calling Features: Get all the traditional calling features you expect plus those not offered with traditional phone service, including Call Waiting, Caller ID and Call Forwarding, Auto Conferencing, Call Return, Speed Dial and more!
